1. What is a cookie
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by the browser. We also use similar technologies such as
localStorage. For simplicity we call them all "cookies".2. Cookie categories we use
- Essential (always on): login session, chosen language, light/dark theme, anti-abuse protection. The site cannot work without these. Legal basis: legitimate interest / contractual necessity.
- Analytics (optional): aggregated, anonymous usage metrics. Only when enabled in the banner.
- Marketing (optional): not actively used. Reserved for future integrations; if enabled they will be kept to the strict minimum.
3. Third-party cookies
- Supabase / Lovable Cloud: session tokens (essential).
- Google: only when you pick "Sign in with Google", at login time. No advertising tracking.
- Apple: only when you pick "Sign in with Apple".
- Stripe: technical cookies for secure lesson payments (essential only during checkout).
4. Retention
- Login session: until logout, or 1 year (auto-refresh).
- Language / theme / cookie prefs: 12 months.
- Third-party tokens: per their own policy.
5. Manage your preferences
You can update your choices at any time using the button below, or by clearing cookies in your browser. Revoking does not affect essential cookies, which are required for the site to work.
