Delete your NewChapter account
You can ask for your NewChapter account and related personal data to be deleted at any time. You don't need to sign in to send the request.
Request by email (no account or can't sign in)
Write to the privacy address from the email you signed up with, adding your nickname if you remember it. The request is handled manually by the data controller.

What is deleted
- Your account and sign-in details, public profile, photo, city and languages.
- Private messages, event participation, votes on ideas, consents and preferences.
- Any legacy interest-list data linked to your email.
What may remain
- Public content (e.g. messages in public chats) may remain in anonymised form.
- Security logs for up to 12 months and data we are legally required to keep.
Timing: the request is handled and completed within 30 days. We confirm by email once it is done.
