Terms of Service

NewChapter is provided by Jasmin Eden, a natural person residing in Italy. Contact: jasmineden23@gmail.com.

A community platform for people living in or moving to the Veneto region of Italy: people map, events, groups, advice, language lessons.

You must be at least 18 years old. You confirm your age at signup. Accounts referring to minors will be closed without notice.

You must provide true information. No fake, duplicate, automated or impersonating accounts. You are responsible for keeping your password safe.

The following is forbidden and will be removed without notice:

• Personal insults, harassment, discrimination, hate speech.
• Sexually explicit, violent, terrorist, self-harm content.
• Spam, unauthorised advertising, pyramid / MLM schemes.
• Impersonation, fraud, social engineering.
• Doxing, sharing other people's personal data without consent.
• Illegal content or content infringing third-party rights (copyright, trademarks).
• Automated data collection (scraping, unauthorised bots).

Every public content and every user can be reported via the "Report" button always visible. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours. You can also block a user at any time from their profile card: you will stop seeing their content.
We enforce a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable or abusive content, as required by the Apple App Store guidelines (1.2).

You retain ownership of what you post. You grant NewChapter a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence, limited to displaying and distributing your content within the service. You can remove your content at any time.

When you book a lesson, payment is processed by Stripe. The tutor is responsible for the delivery. Full refund is granted if:

• the lesson is cancelled by the tutor;
• a group lesson does not reach the minimum participants;
• you cancel at least 24 hours before the start time.

After 24 hours no refunds, except force majeure.

We may suspend or close your account for violations, without notice when other users' safety requires it. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → "Delete account": 30-day grace period, then irreversible deletion.

The service is provided "as is". We don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. NewChapter is not liable for what happens off the platform (e.g. in-person meetings arranged via events or private chats). Use common sense.

These terms are governed by Italian law. For consumer disputes within the EU, the consumer's place of residence applies.

We may update these terms. For material changes we will notify you in-app and by email. Continued use after notice means acceptance.
